Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance is an annual fundraising event jointly organized by the Palos Verdes Rotary Club and the Palos Verdes Art Center. The event includes a classic car show and a road rallye.

Palos Verdes: An Old-Fashioned 4th of July The year was 1962 when the Palos Verdes Independence Day Celebration Committee was founded. Advertising guru Bryan Hardwick and wife Denise met with a few close friends and some of the merchants in Malaga Cove Plaza to form a volunteer committee.

Jaime Frantz Memorial Golf Tournament The Jaime Frantz Memorial Scholarship is awarded yearly to a CU student enrolled in the Leeds School. Currently it is the largest single amount given by the business school for an academic year.

The Volunteer Center pairs more than 30,000 volunteers with opporunities in over 600 nonprofit organizations each year. The center manages a variety of programs and resources including the Volunteer Center Youth Coalition, Seminars for Nonprofits, and Nonprofit Resource Library.
